On-Ice Officials 2005
The Training / certification for Referees in 2005 is scheduled for the weekend of February 5/6. Allan Wishewan, Referee in Chief for Ice Hockey Australia, will be conducting the classes, which include classroom based theory session along with discussion, video and on-ice training. All people wishing to be a referee for 2005 will need to complete the session to achieve current certification.
The session is open to current officials, past officials, and those who are ready to "have a go".
The sport needs more referees to conduct the 400+ games involved in a full season.
The venue will be confirmed no later than 4 weeks prior to the course.
The sessions will run from 9:30 till 5:30 on each day.

A separate course will be run for Linesman over a series of evening sessions in late Feb / early March.
